Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: 10 June 2026  ·  Effective Date: 10 June 2026

1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms have the meanings set out below:

2. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging our services or submitting an enquiry through our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement. You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement. If you are engaging on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have the authority to do so.

3. Service Description

Munkhong provides the following legal services in connection with pension matters in Thailand:

Services are available to individuals with pension matters arising under Thai law. We do not advise on pension matters governed solely by foreign jurisdictions.

4. Service Engagement

A service engagement is confirmed when we have received your written instructions and confirmed the applicable fee in writing. We reserve the right to decline instructions where we determine there is a conflict of interest, insufficient legal merit, or other professional reason. We will communicate any such decision promptly.

5. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

6. Fees and Payment

Service fees are fixed as set out in Section 3 and will be confirmed in writing before any work begins. Fees are payable in Thai Baht (฿). Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of engagement. We do not add charges without prior written notice and your agreement.

If a matter changes materially in scope, we will discuss the implications with you before proceeding. You are not obligated to continue engagement if the revised scope does not suit your needs.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, structure, and design, is owned by or licensed to Munkhong and is protected under applicable Thai intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any website content without our prior written consent. Legal documents and correspondence prepared on your behalf remain your property upon full payment of agreed fees.

8. Confidentiality

We will maintain the confidentiality of all information you share with us in connection with your matter, in accordance with Thai legal professional standards. Information will only be disclosed to third parties as required to progress your matter and with your instruction, or where required by law.

9. Disclaimers

Legal services are provided based on the information available at the time of instruction. We do not provide any assurance as to the outcome of any pension matter, as outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including the decisions of government bodies and courts. Our advice reflects the law and practice as understood at the time it is given.

Our website content is provided for general information only and does not constitute legal advice. You should seek formal legal advice before taking any action in reliance on website content.

10. Limitation of Liability

Our liability to you is limited to the fee paid for the specific service in connection with which a claim arises. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or speculative losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Thai consumer protection law applies where applicable.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate an ongoing service engagement with reasonable written notice. If you terminate, you remain responsible for fees for work completed to the date of termination. We may terminate an engagement if you fail to provide necessary information, fail to make payment, or conduct yourself in a way that makes continued representation untenable. On termination, we will provide you with all documents and records relevant to your matter held by us.

12. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute arising from our services, we encourage you to contact us in the first instance at [email protected] so that we may seek to resolve the matter informally. If the matter cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The date of the most recent revision appears at the top of this page. Continued use of our services following any revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. For existing service engagements, the Terms in effect at the time of engagement apply unless we notify you of material changes.
